Opened in November 2009 and named after the Midtown project on Upper King Street, Midtown Bar & Grill is a collaboration of efforts of partners and Lowcountry natives Christopher Houston, James Maybank, Thomas Shepard and Mike Shuler.

Midtown brings a true bar & grill concept while being located in a beautifully restored 1700’s historic building, the oldest north of Calhoun. The restaurant features original exposed brick walls, fireplaces, pressed-tin ceiling tiles and both inside and outside bars were hand-crafted from the original heart pine beams salvaged from the structure itself.
